Visa Obtained Upon Arrival
Tourist visas to Nauru are only issued upon arrival for a small variable fee and for a maximum stay of 30 days. Longer stay visas may be obtained upon arrival for a higher fee. Please keep in mind that the traveler must:
- Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with one blank visa page
- Hold proof of onward/return flights
- Hold proof of hotel reservations for the length of stay

Special Instructions
Visas to Nauru are no longer obtained through the consulate. For business travel an entry permit is required and approval must be obtained prior to departure. The host company must obtain the approval from Nauruan Department of Immigration. Once issued, the entry permit is forwarded to the applicant via email and it must be presented to immigration officials on arrival.

Do I have to send you my passport to get a Nauru visa? Is it safe to send a passport?
You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Nauru visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa requests cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application and passport to Travisa in a secure way, using a traceable courier such as FedEx, UPS, Express Mail or Certified Mail.
