New Visa  & Passport Requirements

China - The Embassy of China has introduced new changes to their visa requirements. Please be advised that China continues to tighten its visa policy in advance of the Beijing Olympic Games. In many cases, Chinese Consulates are requiring additional back-up documentation.

India
The Embassy now requires proof of residency for jurisdiction in the form of a driver’s license or utility bill.

Belgium - New requirements for Business Visa Applicants.

Tanzania/New York Jurisdiction -
will only issue single entry visas

New Fees

India Effective July 1st. 2008, the Embassy of India will increase their consular fees for business and employment visas.

Mali - Effective April 25, 2008, The Embassy of Mali will increase their fees fees.

Zambia - Effective April 14, 2008, The Embassy of Zambia will increase their fees fees.

Thailand - Effective April 1, 2008, the Thai Embassy will increase their fees for Transit, Tourist and Non-Immigrant visas.

Passport Fees Increase: Effective February 1st. 2008; new fees will be in effect for New Passport Applications and Renewal Applications.

Brazil - Effective January 7, 2008, The Embassy of Brazil will adjust its consular fees for US citizens. Please click on the Consular Fees link to view the new fees.

India - Effective Oct.1, 2007 the Indian Embassy will charge an additional $13.00 per application.

China -Effective January 20, 2008, visa fee for U.S. citizen will be adjusted on reciprocal basis . The details are as follows:    

  1. Visa fee for the individual applicants will be $130 per person, regardless of  the types of visa applied for.
  2. Visa fee for group visa will be $110 per person.  
  3. Expedited service fees will remain unchanged.

New Forms

India - Effective Oct.1,  2007, the Indian Consulates will accept only online application forms. Hand written forms will not be accepted.

China
- Effective September 1, 2007, a new Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China will be used and old versions will be void and discontinued.
New passport application form for name changes, pages, and passport extension.

Countries Now Requiring Visas

Bolivia - Starting December 1st of 2007, citizens of the United States will need an entry visa in order to enter Bolivia.
